This innovative greenhouse project, located in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, boasts a sprawling footprint of nearly 5 hectares. Designed with a focus on efficiency and climate control, the multi-span plastic structure features a 9.6m span width, 4m pipe distance, 4m gutter height, and a 6.5m ridge height.

Optimizing Light and Temperature:
Unlike traditional greenhouses in Saudi Arabia that utilize polycarbonate sheets, this project employs a cutting-edge solution: a 200-micron thick polyethylene (PE) film. This unique film offers several advantages. First, it has high UV resistance, crucial for the harsh Riyadh climate. Second, it incorporates a special "UV-opened" design, promoting high-light diffusion for optimal plant growth.
Advanced Cooling System:
The greenhouse is equipped with a comprehensive cooling system to ensure ideal growing conditions:
● External Sun Shading: A 50-60% shade round yarn shading net effectively reduces ambient temperature by 3-5 degrees Celsius.
●Cooling Pads and Fans: Strategically placed cooling pads work in conjunction with two large fans and one smaller fan to create a robust airflow system, promoting even cooling throughout the greenhouse.
●Circulation Fans: These fans further enhance air circulation within the greenhouse, ensuring consistent temperature and humidity control.
●Smart Control System: The entire cooling system connects seamlessly to a PC and mobile devices, allowing for real-time monitoring and precise adjustments.
